Hello!  I'm sharing my Tip Time Time Tuesday with Kiwi Lane Designs using Hemptique’s yarn and the Sweetheart accessory templates.  I'm showing how to use the templates in an altered project and to matte a photo.

For Hemptique, I chose to work with the yarn because I knew immediately what I was going to make, a Dreamcatcher!

To start, I took a small embroidery hoop and wrapped it with white Hemptique yarn.  I then made the web of the dream catcher with the orange Hemptique yarn.  To figure out how to make the web, I looked it up on You Tube of course!  Here is the video tutorial I used:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlvYbLIXkRU

To decorate the dreamcatcher I cut out feathers from patterned paper in Fancy Pant’s What A Wonderful Day collection and attached them with yarn and beads.

I used the Kiwi land designer templates to matte the photo I wanted to use on the dreamcatcher.  I added some flair and some beads for the finishing touch.

Templates Used:

Sweetheart 2 & 3

Now I'm off to hang this in my daughter's room :)

Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments Pocket Page

Hello!  I've got a FotoBella project with Graphic 45's Sweet Sentiment Collection to share today.  Are you a project life or pocket page style scrapbooker?  I decided to try out this style of scrapbooking late last year in  preparation for the arrival of my new baby girl.  Her 1st year album is a pink We R Memory Keepers  Albums Made Easy and is filled with the cutest pocket pages.  (supplies found at Fotobella.com). I knew I would have a ton of photos and wanted to easily compile an album with them.

I'm sharing one of those precious pages with you today.

I use the page with 6, 4"x 6" vertical slots.  I slid in three photos, and used the remaining three slots for embellishing & journaling.

There are some cute envelopes and journaling pieces in this collection.

And here is the completed page.

If you haven't yet bought this Graphic 45 collection, head over to Fotobella and check out the Albums Made Easy while you're there!

Bee Mine Valentine

Hello!  I'm happy to share my Bee Mine Valentine Card today!  I'm featuring Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments collection. It's very feminine and sweet, perfect for those valentine cards you've been waiting to make.  I broke out my Silhouette machine for this one and took advantage of some free downloads from SVGcuts

1. I chose the floral patterned paper from the bundle and the heart doily shape from my SVG files.  Visit SVGcuts.com to download the shape for free.

2. I resized the shape slightly (making it smaller).

3.  I cut the background shape out of purple card stock and also resized it.

4.  The last shape is the top heart, also cut out of the purple card stock.

5.  I layered the shapes, I ran a brown ink pad around the edges and across the entire thing to give it a bit of an aged look.

6.  Then adhered it to the beige sentiment paper for the base of the card.  When folded, the card is 6"x6".  So you will have to cut it to 6"x12" for it to work.

7.  I embellished the hearts with a chipboard button, chipboard butterfly and the Bee Mine Sticker.

And here's the final result!  A beautiful card in no time!

Enjoy and have a fabulous Valentine's Day!  Visit Fotobella.com for your Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments collection!
