Fun cruise photos and fun papers from Carta Bella's Ahoy There Collection make for a great layout.  The red striped vellum that looks amazing in this layout is from My Mind's Eye Necessities Red Collection.   Thanks to FotoBella.com, I've been working with these great products.

This layout has some real pizazz with the stripes, chevrons and other fun patterns.  

Embellishments are enamel dots from My Mind's Eye Blue Necessities. 

I really love all the fun layers, stickers and alphas.

You Make Me Happy Layout

Hey there, what have you all been up to lately?  I have been lovin' the new collection from Carta Bella, Ahoy There!  I've been waiting for the perfect collection to use for my cruise photos from 2012 and this is it.  I created this layout for the FotoBella Design Team.

Celebrating the New Year on a cruise is a blast!  Here's me and my little man at Formal dinner on New Year's.  Such a handsome boy.  I thought the navy's in the various papers were very elegant looking for this photo.  By adding the journal card sentiment, it gave the pop of color I needed and I complimented it by making a banner with the red paper.  

Here are some detail shots of the color accent that really make the layout.  The striped brad is from My Mind's Eye Necessities Red Collection.  It matches perfect and both these great collections can be found at FotoBella.com.

So Long, Farewell!

Well folks, today is my last post for Kiwi Lane's Design Team.  Man time flies when you're having fun!  For my farewell post, I'm sharing some of my favorite Kiwi Lane designer templates.

Kiwi Lane and Hazel & Ruby

This month Kiwi Lane's Design Team is working with Hazel & Ruby Product.  I got great stencils, tissue paper and sequins to use and here is what I came up with.  

I started with a white card stock background, and then placed the stencils.  I used them for the title “Love You”, the rectangle shape and the random letters.  I then sprayed several colors of Color Shine and pulled the stencils up to reveal the white background.  Using a few scraps that were already laying on my scrap paper, I framed up the photo.  I added the Hazel & Ruby Tissue Paper Quote Collage with the Mini Madison Lane template 1B.  I wanted to keep the look on the edgy side, so I kept the frame up simple, used the stapler to attach my photo and paper and embellished with sequins.  I outlined some of the letters with a black pen and roughed up some of the patterned paper with a black ink pad.  

Supplies:  Kiwi Lane Mini Madison Lane 1B template, Hazel & Ruby: Pass the tissue-Quote Collage, Stencil-Greeting words, Sequin tube, white card stock, black card stock, Heidi Swap Color Shine, scraps of Bella Blvd paper, black pen, black ink.

Swim Class with Echo Park

Have you seen Echo Park's Summer Bliss Collection yet?  It's super cute!  Great for any summer adventure photos.  FotoBella has all of it just waiting for you.  

Every year, my kiddos spend the summer in swim class at the local college pool.  In this layout, they are posing for the camera after class one day.  They are so cute!

Such fun patterns and colors make for a great layout!  

Embellishing was easy with the word stickers and alphas.  Simple and fun, exactly what summer and layouts should be sometime!

Capture Life Card

Hey everyone!  One of my favorite Echo Park collections is Capture Life.  Have you had a chance to check it out?  It's a great all around collection.  Good for any type of theme or style of crafting.  I'm sharing a colorful card today that was a lot of fun to make.

The making of this card was all about fussy cutting to get those great embellishments!  I just love the view finders and reels, so nostalgic and fun!  I added the sticker phrases and viola!

Hello Good Times & Adventure

  It has been a blast working on my cruise layouts and super easy to do using Carta Bella's Ahoy There and My Mind's Eye Necessities!  

I love the anchor I fussy cut and the pennants from this collection.  Oh and the ombre paper I used for the background of these layout is great!

I'm going to be sad when I've used up all of this great stuff!  But super happy with all my fabulous layouts.

Sail Away Together

Who's ready to sail away from it all, just for a few days maybe?  If only we could, right?  Well, here's a great card that suggests just that to the one you love.  I'm on the FotoBella blog today, sharing the tutorial for this card, using Carta Bella's Ahoy There Collection.
