Aloha End of Summer Luau

Anyone get new neighbors over the summer?  Seems to be when new families move into the neighborhood.  We have a couple new neighbors and threw a neighborhood luau to welcome everyone.  My next door neighbor and I co-hosted and it was a ton of fun!  The full blog story is featured at paperplanelane.wordpress.com for Paper Plane Lane Boutique.  I share the menu, party decor ideas and fun dessert displays.

Paper Plane Lane Boutique

Wow, can you believe summer has come and gone already?  My kiddos started school this past week, and although we filled our summer days with fun vacations and activities, it didn't seem to be long enough.  Is it ever?  Amongst all the summer sun and fun, I was offered a great opportunity by Paper Plane Lane Boutique to become one of their blog contributors.  

Paper Plane Lane is a children's boutique owned by two fabulous moms!  I was beyond excited to become part of their team.  I've been a huge supporter of shopping small and Instagram shops and that's how I found this fabulous shop.  And now I also get to blog for them about my favorite subject, DIY!  It's a great opportunity for me to share my projects, some that don't always involve scrapbooking, which has been my primary focus on this blog.
