Every week for the past few weeks, I kept thinking I would make that week's WOYWW...hahaha the joke was on me! What did you miss over the past few weeks??? Well the usual scrappy mess while I was getting design team projects together, "Santa's" Workshop...boy was that a doozy of a mess! That was a "top secret" event....of course!
And a photo I can show you....
My daughter's pile of craftiness....she was making cards...you can see her blonde head just over the table. She had to move on to using the floor as her workspace, ha! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. She was experiencing a WHIRLWIND of Creatvity...lol I thought it was pretty good for a 5 year old :) but of course I am bias! ;)
And now...for what my desk looks like today, during an actual WOYWW week.
If you look closely you will see goodies from the NEW Imaginisce Childhood Memories Collection! I had to move the projects off the desk thought....because you can't see them yet ;)
Thanks for stopping by this week for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. Take time to visit http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.com to see what all the work desk spying fun is all about!
Have a fabulous day!

Your desk looks very neat. It's always fun when the daughter(s) wants to play and or help. I can't wait to see what you've been creating. April #136
ReplyDeleteLove your pink mat and your little blondie working away on her cards!! Obviously she is going to take after you in the crafty stakes, which could be a mixed blessing if you want to keep your stash intact!! Annette #37
ReplyDeleteI work in a school and love the way that kids just 'go for it' when they are creating! No over thinking the project, it's get the materials out and explosions of colour soon happen. That's what reminded me when I saw your daughters card, it fair pops off the screen :)

So lovely that you are encouraging your daughter with her creativity, Apryl. Unfortunately Beastly Blogger isn't playing ball at the moment and won't show me your photos so I'm having to use my imagination!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment on my blog. I'll be uploading photos and videos and full details once the spoke guard project is finished. So far it's going well, and I know what pitfalls to avoid with the next set that I do!
Happy belated WOYWW,

Love your messy desk - if it isn't messy then you aren't doing it properly. Well that's what I say. Thanks for calling round to my blog, love getting comments - don't we all. Have been working on the iPad case this afternoon and making good progress, had the ipad playing the instructions as I worked. It's a good project and quite easy to follow.

Fabulous work by your daughter. Great workspace you both have.
ReplyDeleteAw Bless! I hope your daughter keeps at the crafting. She may be lucky to get your pink craft mat! That is if I don't get it first. Love the brightness of those papers!

Hi Apryl, just for a moment there I thought that was your desk!!! You daughter clearly has the crafting bug and her cards are terrific. I hope that she continues to be interested as she gets older. Your desk looks like a haven of tranquility in contrast - though there's plenty for this snoop to look at, and I'm taken with the bright and zingy colours in the papers :) Thanks for sharing - as always I enjoyed reading your post. Elizabeth x #69
ReplyDeleteAwww, I'm a sucker for children crafting and that was adorable! The twinks were about five when they started and they still love going in the Playhouse and making cards. Your little one obviously wants to be just like mommy! In this case, mommy's desk is a whole lot tidier!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming around to my place and for joining. I'll return the compliment! Have a wonderful week if I don't see you before! Darnell #30
Hullo there Apryl, the wee blond head was soo cute...I can so relate to hopping on floor cos you run out of room but my non five year old knees wont let me so have to reorganise or push back the stuff!

Your daughter's cards are so great! (Yours, too!)
ReplyDeleteHave a great WOYWW,

What a great joy to have your daughter crafting alongside you. You will have to watch out that she doesn't use up all the things you want for your next project. Thank you for your visit this week, and I hope you have a very good week. xx Maggie #32
