"Sweet" Cotton Candy Card

Hello, hello everyone!  Hope the weekend was great and you had a little time to get crafty.  Today I'm sharing a card made with Bo Bunny Carnival I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella.com.  The card is fun and bright with lots of *sparkle*.

I loved the cotton candy embellishments in this collection.  I fussy cut the cotton candy shape and added some Diamond stickles to the dark, shaded parts of the fluffy cotton candy cloud of goodness, to make it look even more yummy!

Because I really wanted to call attention to the cotton candy and the "Sweet" sentiment I popped it up off the Marquee shape and outlined the starburst design with Stickles also.

I didn't add any additional sentiment or title, since I'm not sure what event I'll need this card for yet.  But it could easily be used for a "Sweet Sixteen" themed card, "You're Sweet" or "Thank you" card.  That's the beauty of handmade cards, they can be customized to fit what you need it for!

Supplies used from the Carnival Bundle:  Side Show Paper, Cotton Candy Paper, Metal brads-Ephemera.

Have a fabulous day!

Welcome to Circus Vargas! Bo Bunny Carnival!

Have you been to the Circus lately?  We took our kids to the Circus for the first time about a year ago to celebrate Mother's Day.  I was super excited to receive the latest I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella was Bo Bunny Carnival!  Ok, yes, it's called "Carnival" but there is plenty of Circus theme stuff in it.

I really had a tough time deciding what to use from this bundle because it's all so great.  I wanted to keep it bright and fun.  The blue and orange color scheme went perfect with these two photos of the tent entrance and the Ring Master's grand intro.  There's a lot in this layout, so be sure to spy all the fun details.

There's some great glittered chipboard pieces like the big top, and pieces in the Ephemera package never disappoint.  That's where the large blue gem is from and the playing cards.  I cut some of the film strip for a banner effect behind the "Welcome to the Show".

Thanks for stopping by today for some Circus fun.  There's more to come I assure you.  Hope you have a fabulous day!
