September Sketch Challenge with Imaginisce

September 1st!  Say Whhaat?!?  Seriously, where did the summer go?  Whoosh, gone right before our eyes!  So here's a chance to reminisce all the fun things you did this summer and capture it in a layout!  Here is Imaginisce's Sketch Challenge for this month:

Select photos that highlight your summer favorites and interpret the sketch to create your layout.  Visit the Imaginisce blog to submit your layout for the challenge for a chance to win a fabulous prize.

This is the layout I created for the Sketch Challenge:

Supplies:  Endless Summer Collection, I-Rock, Hot Gems, I-top, brads, 22mm Imaginisce Punch

My kids spent a lot of time at the beach this summer!  They love the sun, sand and sea and can't seem to ever get enough of it!  Definitely one of their favorite memories from this summer.  So what's yours?  Give the sketch challenge a whirl, and have fun with it!

Have a fabulous day!

Stay Well Care Package

With the school year creeping up on us slowly, Back to School projects are in full swing at Imaginisce!

One of the things that comes to mind for me when school starts is how to keep my kiddos well!  It's usually a rough month or two for students and teachers to keep the colds and flu bugs away.  So, for my Back To School Project I thought I would make a "Stay Well" Care Package for the Teacher.  I was inspired by the traditional "Get Well" Package you tend to see.

I took a large mug and filled it with some goodies that would come in handy to fend off a cold.  I embellished the mug with the Endless Summer Collection and May Arts Ribbon for a bright and cheery look.

I thought this would make a nice gift to kick off the school year and something you may not typically see.

Supplies:  Endless Summer Collection, White Mug, May Arts Ribbon, Imaginisce Small Punch, Quickutz Sugar Cookie Font, PInkering Scissors.

Have a fabulous day!

Celebrate Independence Day!

Independence Day is always a fun celebration time for my family.  Every year we are either at the beach or in the pool all day, barbecuing and then heading down to the beach after dark to watch the fireworks go off at the end of the pier.  It's really fun and can't wait to do it again this year!  Last year we were in the pool and here is a great photo of my husband and kiddos having a blast!

For the layout I wanted to focus on the traditional Independence day colors, Red, White & Blue.  I accented that with fun patterned paper from the Endless Summer collection that went with the pool theme of the photo.  For the embellishments, I altered one of the journaling stickers by adding the blue card stock to make a great background for the "July 4th" title and matted "Pool Party" in the same  blue card stock.  I also hand cut my own splash shapes from the card stock and added that beautiful sparkle with Stickles.  I popped the splashes of the page with foam tape.  Makes it look as though the water is splashing right off the page.  So fun!

Supplies:  Endless Summer Collection, Childhood Memories Collection, White Cardstock, Blue Cardstock, Blue, Diamond and Red Stickles, Blue and White Ink, Foam tape, White Gel Pen.

Hope everyone has a happy & safe holiday!
