Outdoor Adventure

Once again, Imaginisce has come out with another amazing collection!  Outdoor adventure has a beautiful color and pattern combination that is perfect for those camping, hiking, and fun outdoor photos.  In my layout, I went with the "adventure" theme that was captured in these photos of my kids climbing trees and being adventurous.

One of my favorites in the collection is the woodgrain patterned paper and just had to use it along with several other fun patterns.  I had fun combining and layering the different patterns and creating the title for the page with the cute alpha stickers and embellishments.

If you are a camper and enjoy the outdoors, then Outdoor Adventure Collection is the one for you!  I can't wait to get some fun camping photos this summer so that I can play with this collection some more!

Visit Imaginisceblog.com for more amazing projects using Outdoor Adventure Collection.

Have a fabulous day!

Beautiful do!

Hello there!  Hope everyone had a fantastic Mother's Day!

Today, I am featuring a project for Imaginisce done with the I top tool.  With a little girl in the house, hair accessories are a MUST!  So it was an easy choice to design one for this month's I-top project.  Since my daughter LOVES pink I went with the Love You More Collection and some pink tulle to make up this cute I-top Bobby Pin.

Supplies:  Love You More Collection, I bond Glue Gun, I rock, Hot Rocks, Pink Tulle, I top Bobby Pin, Medium Paper Punch. Twine, Glitter Glue.

To make this hair accessory, I began with the the Medium Paper Punch and I top tool to make the bobby pin.

I then took strips of paper and glued them around the backside of the bobby pin accessory.

Once the glue cooled, the took some pink tulle and bunched it in a flower, pom pom type shape and tied the middle of it with twine.  Then I glued that behind the paper strips.

For that extra sparkle I love so much, I used the I-rock to adhere hot rocks to the center of the bobby pin and on the tulle.  I added some glitter glue to the piece as well.

And there you have it!  A very fun, vary pink, very girlie hair accessory.

Have a fabulous day!

It's Blog Hop Time with Imaginisce and The Twinery!

Have some fun and join in the blog hop going on this week with Imaginisce and The Twinery.  There are tons of fabulous projects and inspiration to see from the designers from both companies.  Oh and did I mention there are prizes to win??  Yes, some pretty great prizes.  Leave your comments on everyone's blog for a chance to win!

I had the great opportunity to work with The Twinery's beautiful twine.  They have such an assortment of colors to choose from that you will have no problem finding the color you need for any project.

Take a look at the layout I made:

The lollipop embellishments are made from the Twinery twine.  I cut circles out of cardstock, ran the circles through the Xyron Creat-a-Sticker and then wound the twine around on the adhesive side of the circle.  I started on the outside of the circle and worked my way inwards.  I also used the twine to tie around the lollipop sticks.

I thought the lollipops turned out really cute so I decided to use them for the main embellishment on the page. They were almost as cute as the photos I used in the layout, but of course I'm a bit biased ;)

Supplies:

Imaginisce: Childhood Memories Collection, Good Dog Collection.

The Twinery:  Peapod, Maraschino, Lemondrop, Ocean, Midnight Blue, twine.

Other supplies: Xyron Creat-a-Sticker, White Cardstock.  Sticks, Pinkering scissors, turquoise gel pen.

So now that you've seen my project continue hopping along through the blog hop and see what other inspiring things there are to see from the other designers.

Inspired By Color

Join in this week for the Imaginisce's Inpsired By Color Feature:

For the Inspired  By Color challenge I made a fun Party Invitation.

I started with a basic brown and beige background and accented it with the Color Shine spray.  The color shine colors used are teal and gold.  I then combined the pretty blue and orange on the left side of the card for a bold background to the flowers.

For the festive look of the card, I made flowers using the Paper punches.  I wanted to keep the card simple in design but incorporate as much color as possible.  I tied in the rest of the colors in the challenge by using the polka dot paper from the Animal Crackers collection for the second layer of the flowers.  I also sprayed the flowers with some Color shine and added the pearl brads.

I had fun with this project and hope that you will join in the Inspired By Color challenge and have some fun of your own!

Hope you have a fabulous day!

Supplies:  Paper from Happy Camper Collection, Good Dog Collection, Animal Crackers Collection, Beige & Brown Cardstock, Heidi Swap Color Shine (Teal & Gold) , Glossy Accents, Aqua Stickles, Pearl brads, Imaginisce's Paper Punch Small & Medium, Sunset Sizzix Font.

Flower Pendant and the I-Bond with Imaginisce

This week's project for Imaginisce was to make something using the I-Bond Hot Glue Gun.

So...for my I-Bond project, I experimented with hot glue and stamps.  I had a blast and created a flower pendant necklace.

Yes, it's hot glue….I know, wow!  How is this even possible??

To make the pendant:

I started with a clear stamp and Turquoise Versa mark ink.  I turned the inked stamp over so that it was laying inked side up.  I then squeezed clear hot glue over the top of the stamp with the I-bond.  After waiting just a few seconds, I flipped the stamp over on to my glass mat and pressed the stamp down so that it spread the hot glue evenly over the stamp.  Then, I let the glue cool slightly before peeling up the stamp.  To give it a shiny look, I put a thin layer of Ranger's glossy accents over the flower.  To give the pendant definition I used a black felt marker and went over the lines the stamp made for the flower petals.  I just can't resist bling so I hot glued a large rhinestone to the center of the flower.  Once everything was dry, I hot glued the flower pendant to the silver pendant piece found in Imaginisce's Magni-top Necklace and Pendant collection.

And there you are folks, a beautiful necklace!  Grab yourself an I-bond and get creative!

Supplies:  I-Bond, Clear hot glue, Clear flower stamp, Turquoise Versa Mark Ink, Ranger Glossy Accents, Black felt marker, Rhinestone, Imaginisce's Magni-top Necklace and Pendant.

It's a Blog Hop with Xyron!

Welcome to the Imaginisce and Xyron Blog Hop!  This week Imaginisce Design Team had the opportunity to use Xyron adhesive for our Imaginisce projects.  Boy do I love the Xyron Mega runner!!  This thing works great!  I am so glad I got to try it because now I am hooked!

For my Easter themed project I chose to make a table center piece with Imaginisce's Love You More Collection.

I started with the Lifestyle Crafts pinwheel die cut and cut out three pinwheels.  The flower accents in the center of the pinwheels are also dies that come with the pinwheels.  They make for some cut pinwheels!  The sticks of the pinwheels are paper straws that I made with Love You More paper and the Xyron Mega Runner.  I place all the pinwheels in a mason jar full of candy, tied a pink tulle ribbon around the jar and, there you have it, a cute centerpiece!

Here are a few pinwheel close ups:

I hope you take the time to visit Imaginisce and Xyron's blogs all this week to check out all the great projects the Design Teams have come up with.  There are some great prizes in store!

Have a fabulous day!

Endless Summer is finally here!

Welcome to the party!

Yes, this collection is FINALLY here and oh my it is SOOOO cute!  It's a MUST HAVE!

I absolutely LOVE this collection!

Endless+Summer=BBQ!

This collection is perfect for those BBQ photos!  I had a great time making this layout.  I wanted to pack in as many of the fun patterns in this collection as I could (I had a hard time choosing ;) so I did this by making a ton of banners :)  I also embellished the page with the Sticker Stackers and the Hot Rocks.

And now for a double page layout!

Sun, Surf, & Sand!  Endless Summer Collection!

I added bling to the sun! As well as the die cut titles and cute polka dot bikini.

This is such a great collection to use for all those great summer photos you have!  Visit Imaginisce's blog to check out all the great Endless Summer projects the Design Team has been working on!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a fabulous day!
