Featuring Imaginisce's I-top Tool

Imaginisce has been featuring their really cool I-Top tool on their blog all week.  The tool can be used for all kinds of fun projects!

My fun project was embellishing a pair of flip flops.  I secured a silk flower to the center of the sandal. Placed a button daddy in the center, covered with A Day in The Life paper from the Childhood Memories Collection and then embellished it with Hot Rocks and the I-rock tool.  This was a quick and easy way to add a little pizzaz to a pair of sandals sitting in the closet.

Supplies:  I-top tool, Medium Button Daddies, 22mm Imaginisce punch,  I-Rock tool, Hot Rocks, Pogo Adhesive, Silk flower. Childhood Memories Day In The Life Paper, Flip Flops

Spooky. Scary. Beware!

Beware! This blog contains a SPOOOOKY Halloween Card!

I love the skull and crossbones paper in this collection and thought it would make a great theme for a Halloween card.  The matching skull and crossbones sticker was the perfect centerpiece.  I wanted to keep the color tones the same to capture that SPOOOOKY feeling of Halloween.

I chose a dark brown sheer ribbon to tie around the card and embellished the bow with a brad.

Spooky. Scary.

Create your own spooky card by visiting Fotobella's blog to see my tutorial on how to make this card.  But wait!  First you have to get the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Halloween-I Want It All Bundle.

I also made a Journal tag with the collection.  Quick and easy and it will be a great addition to a layout. It's fun to embellish layouts with tags.  With the I Want It All bundle, there are plenty of supplies to make ton's of tags like this one and lots of layouts.  It's a fabulous buy, definitely don't miss this one!

Have a spooky (but not so scary) day!

Lost & Found Halloween by My Mind's Eye

For Fotobella's Design Team project this month I got to work with My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Halloween Collection-I Want It All Bundle.  This is a fabulous collection.  Great Halloween designs and fun embellishments.  I really had a lot of fun with the embellishments in this collection.

For the title of the page I used the Happy Halloween Chipboard Sticker and the pennants from the Cutouts sheet.

When placing my embellishments on the page, I like to layer them and add dimension with pop dots, ink and a few pieces of ribbon from my My Mind's Eye ribbon stash.

My Mind's Eye does not disappoint with this collection (do they ever?!?)  No way!  This collection is a really great deal at Fotobella.com.  Go check it out and don't hesitate to get the I Want It All Bundle so that you have plenty of product to play with!  It's well worth it!

Have a fabulous day!

"My Two Loves" Layout

Today I am sharing the Love You More Collection by Imaginisce.  This collection is beautiful!  Perfect for those "Love" themed projects.  I chose two of my favorite photos of my kids to design this layout around.  I love how it came together.

I really like mixing and matching patterns as you can see in this layout.  Chevrons, hexagons, hearts, polka dots make for a stunning combination (I think ;).   What I like most about this layout is the cutout heart I used to frame my son's photo.

To embellish the page I matted the Love You More sticker sentiment and added a button and twine.

I also added dimension to my title by adhering the sticker letters using pop dots.

Wishing you all a Happy Valentine's Day!

Release Party for Good Dog by Imaginisce

It's a P-a-r-t-y!!  A "Good Dog" party with Imaginisce.  They have released this SUPER cute collection this week.  So if you are looking for the perfect collection for your little (or big ;) pooch...here it is!

My son is an absolute DOG LOVER.  This collection is made for him and his furry friends.  The adorable Good Dog Collection is perfect for bringing your love for dogs center stage.    The paper and embellishments made it so easy to create this layout.  All the colors and patterned paper coordinate so well together.  And the Doggie Die Cuts are the CUTEST!  I layered several patterned papers together to create the base of the layout.  I love creating my own embellishments so I hand cut and matted the dog bone for an oversized embellishment to balance the 5”x7” photo I used.  I made a dog tag for  journaling with the Diary Sticker Stacker and ribbon.  I also hand cut the hearts that I placed throughout the page, giving them dimension with foam tape and rhinestones.

Patterned Paper:  Dog Parade, Dog Speak, Dawg Dayz, Spotty Dog, Dog Dreams.  Doggy Die Cuts, Doggy Diary Sticker Stacker.   Rhinestones, Blue Ribbon.  Tools:  I-Rock, I-Punch, I-magicut Ribbon Cutter, Foam Tape.

Good Dog Mini Album:

As soon as I saw the fun designs in the Good Dog collection I knew there was a mini album in my future!  The idea for the shape of the pages came from the collection itself:  The heart, dog bone, food  bowl and dog house pages were all drawn and hand cut to mimic the smaller shapes found on the papers and embellishments.  I wanted each page to be a different shape so that it would catch your eye without even opening the album.  In a mini album it is sometimes tough to make space for journaling.  In this album I used the Doggy Mail cutouts and made them their own page in the album so that there was plenty of room for journaling.

Supplies used:
Patterned Paper:  Dog Parade, Doggy Mail, Dog Speak, Dog Dreams, Dog Biscuits, Dawg Dayz, Spotty Dog, In the Dog House, Paw Prints.
Fur-Ever Friends Sticker Stackers, Doggy Diary Sticker Stacker, Doggy Die Cuts.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you LOVE this new collection as much as I do.

Have a fabulous day!

No Ordinary Calendar with My Mind's Eye

Do you have any old (or in my case new and never been used) picture frames floating around?  I've had this picture frame sitting around my house, in closets, in the attic, survived two garage sales, etc., etc. etc.  I just couldn't figure out what to do with the thing!  And then VIOLA!  I had this great idea to upcycle it and make it into a calendar!

I started with my picture frame that is 16x20.  I painted the glass with several coats of Martha Stewart's Chalkboard paint.  Once the paint dried and I decided what size to make the actual calendar portion, I used a good 'ol Sharpie to draw the grid.  I wanted the squares to be a fair size, so I made them 2"x2", making the total dimensions of the grid 14"x10" (LxH).

Once the grid was drawn on, the fun began!  Embellishing the frame with the My Minds's Eye-The Sweetest Thing, Tangerine "I Want It All" Bundle from Fotobella.com.  Let me tell you....I used EVERY embellishment in the bundle!  The sky was the limit in this project!!  And I hope you agree, it was well worth it!  I am totally IN LOVE with this calendar!

And what I really love???  That I found these fabulous Chalk markers to write on the calendar with.  It cleans with a damp cloth and they write beautifully!  No yucky, dusty, chalky mess.

Here's some closeup shots of all the fun details on this calendar:

And one more finale shot!

Now, hurry! Go! Scour the house for a picture frame and make your own!  Don't forget to grab the My Mind's Eye-The Sweetest Thing, Tangerine "I Want It All" Bundle! from Fotobella.com

Have a fabulous day!
