Fun Family Time Layout

One of the most important things about the holidays is spending time with your families.  I love scrapbooking the holidays of previous years, and remembering all of those great times we shared.  Today's layout is made with We R Memory Keepers North Pole I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella.com.  The bundles are fabulous and this one will not disappoint.  FotoBella bundles have a TON of paper in them, not to mention all the embellishment goodies that go along with it.

Don't you just love these script alpha stickers?  They make such stunning titles.

I got a lot of photos on this page using my circle stamp to crop out the backgrounds of the photos and draw the focus to our faces.

Happy Holidays everyone!  Hope they are full of your own fun family times!

Have a fabulous day!

Dear Santa Layout

Christmas time is fast approaching and what better time to shop for yourself at FotoBella.com It is the place to find great Christmas collections like this one I'm featuring today by We R Memory Keepers.  It's the North Pole I want it all bundle and it is perfect for those holiday projects you've been waiting to start.  This collection has the classic colors and patterns.

There are some fun snowflake stickers I couldn't wait to use in this collection.  I adhered them to the layout with foam squares to give them some dimension and coordinate with the snow flake patterned paper I used for the background of the layout.

When I saw the alpha stickers I was really excited to use them.  They are really cute!  I had a bunch of titles I wanted to use, and settled on this one (so I'd have enough letters, ha!).

Silver Stickles added some sparkle to the center of the snowflakes and ran it along the edge of the photo to frame it out with some bling!  Visit FotoBella to see this bundle for yourself.

Have a fabulous day!

Happy Holidays Layout

Happy first day of December!!  Have you seen We R Memory Keepers North Pole Collection available now at FotoBella.com?  It really is a great collection for your holiday photos.  It's the latest bundle I've been working with for FotoBella's Design Team.  It's a very festive collection with traditional Christmas colors.

This collection also has the large tags which I used here in the center of the layout, mounted on chipboard so that it would sit higher than the photos.  I embellished a lot of the layout with Stickles, the tag and the holly berries on the patterned paper and it really made it pop.

Grab this bundle today and make your own beautiful layouts.

I Love Aspen Layout

Aspen, Colorado is such a beautiful place to visit.  While we were there we spent some time at the John Denver Sanctuary.  The photos from the trip were perfect for the We R Memory Keepers Shine Collection.

This collection has a few embellishments with it, but for the most part, I fussy cut a lot for a lot of my embellishments on tis page.  It really brought the page to life, in my opinion and this layout is one of my favorites.

Everything you see on this page from the tree, dear head, hearts, owl, leaves, all fussy cut from the Journal Cards in the Albums Made Easy Card Set.  I added some Stickles, glossy accents and twine to the mix as well.

I inked the edges on EVERYTHING!  Between the cutouts, the inking and the added shine, this layout came out with some great dimension and character.

Have a fabulous day!

I'm So Lucky Layout

There are several things I really like about the We R Memory Keepers Shine Collection.  One is the great variety of cards in the Albums Made Easy set, and the cork stickers.  Both of which I've used in this layout.

Although there isn't a lot of embellishments included with this collection, it is very easy to add your own.  I fussy cut the buck so that it stands out against the background paper.  I also added twine and stickles to the banner and flower graphics on the paper.

I love how this collection compliments the photos and has become one of my new favorites from We R Memory Keepers.  Visit FotoBella.com to check out all of the Shine Collection.

Have a fabulous day!

Every Day Blessing Layout

Hey there!  I have got to share one of my new faves, cork stickers!  My absolute favorite embellishments in the We R Memory Keepers Shine Collection.  I mean just look at how cute that owl is!

The design of this layout all revolved around wanting to use that cute little owl.  I love the colors in all of the elements and really wanted them to stand out so I put them on a black card stock background.

To make the photos pop, I matted them with white card stock.  This was the perfect layout for the clear stickers from this collection, giving them an opportunity to stand out.

The "Every Day is a Blessing" sentiment is a card from the Albums Made Easy Set, that I embellished with Platinum color Stickles.

This is a quick and easy card, fun and vibrant and can used for many different occasions.

Let's Get Out & Explore Altered Frame

I had oodles of ideas when it came to designing with Prima Marketing's Forever Green collection for FotoBella's design team.  One project I couldn't wait to get started on was this altered frame.

It is a great collection to have if you are really into altered projects.  I went to Big Lots and just got a plain, black, 4"x6" frame.

Supplies Needed:  Prima Marketing I Want It All Bundle:“Watch Them Grow” Paper, Ephemera, Wood Icons, Vegetation packet, Stick Pins, Metal charms, Small Flowers and a black 4”x6” frame.

1.    Select the “Watch Them Grow” patterned paper.

2.    Place the frame face down on the paper and trace the outer and inner edge of the frame.  Cut the pieces out and be sure to cut a diagonal at each corner.

3. Begin glueing the cut pieces to the front of the frame.  Be sure that the angles at the corners line up, as well as the words in  the pattern of the paper.

4. At the top left corner of the frame, begin building your embellishment by layering several leaves from the “Vegetation” packet of leaves.

5.  Add the olive green flower from the “Sprout” flower packet.  It’s the flower with the feathers behind it.  Place the bird stick pin behind it.  In the center of the flower, remove the pearl in the center and glue the wood “hello” circle embellishment from the “Wood Icons” packet.

6.  At the bottom right hand corner of the frame, begin layering leaves as you did in the other corner.

7. Build the embellishment using the burlap flower from the “Mushroom” packet.  Fussy cut the ampersand from one of the journaling notecards to place behind the flower.  Add the butterfly sick pin, the metal bird cage charm and small flowers to the frame.  Also added some fun pieces from the Epherema packet such as the word “explore” and some flowers and leaves.

8.  For the display area of the frame, insert the journal notecards with “Let’s Get Out There” which fit perfectly in the 4x6 opening of the frame.

Here are a few close up photos so you can really see the details:

The assortment of flowers in this collection is simply amazing.  The stick pins were a gorgeous addition as well, adding great dimension and interest to the overall design.

Layers of flowers, paper and wood embellishments really created such a beautiful look to this project.  Hope you felt inspired to create a fun frame!
