My Princess Simple Stories Enchanted Layout

Apryl with FotoBella Design Team sharing another Simple Stories Enchanted layout featuring my princess as she poses in the Fancy Nancy tour bus we had the pleasure of seeing while at the author's book signing.  I enjoyed adding all the little details in this layout.  See how many fun things you spy.

I layered just a few patterned papers and then went to town with the cute embellishments.  I love the chipboard cloud sticker and especially the silver foil chipboard "princess" sticker.

I added butterflies, a crown, the journaling box from the and paper wash.

Post Card Princess Layout with Simple Stories Enchanted

Hello! Who doesn't love feeling like a princess?  Today sharing the new Simple Stories Enchanted Collection I've been working with and it is packed full of princess goodies.   This is such a cute collection and FotoBella.com has all the goodies that go with it.

Recently my daughter and I had the opportunity to go to a book signing for the author and illustrator for the Fancy Nancy books.  The Enchanted Collection couldn't have been more perfect for these photos.  This is one of many layouts I will be sharing with you.

As part of the book signing, we got to go inside the tour bus.  This thing was completely "Fancy" as any Fancy Nancy fan would expect.

There are fabulous silver foil embellishments in this collection and the chipboard crown is one of them.  I also had fun with the enamel dots, using them for all the centers of the flowers.

There a lot of fun possibilities with Simple Stories Enchanted Collection.  Stay tuned to the blog for more fun projects and visit FotoBella.com to get your own collection.

Have a fabulous day!

Hello Princess Layout

Hello, I've been having lots of fun with the  Simple Stories Enchanted collection that arrived from FotoBella.com.  This collection is finding it's way into my heart, and many of my layouts.  Ok, this is one of my favorites!

The layout is made primarily with the 4"x4" element/journaling cards.  The exception is the small heart patterned paper that runs through the middle of the page.  I really like this type of layout because it is like a puzzle.  Each little square has it's own thing going on, and put together it tells a story as a full 12"x12" page.

I treated each square individually when it came to embellishing.

And here at the top left corner, is the journaling, using the arrow stickers from the sticker sheet.  There's quite a bit of eye candy in this layout and honestly, I can't stop staring at it.  Hope you find the Enchanted Collection just as enchanting as I have.  Visit FotoBella.com to get your own.

Have a fabulous day!

Dream Come True Layout with Simple Stories Enchanted

Why hello there and welcome to the Simple Stories Enchanted collection and Fancy Nancy layouts.  My daughter and I had the pleasure of attending a book signing event for Jane O'Conner, author of Fancy Nancy books and I have a ton of photos to share.  The Simple Stories Enchanted collection, found at FotoBella.com was just the theme I needed to scrap these photos of Jane O' Conner's tour bus.

The background page is a beautiful gray and white chevron with a floral pattern.  I matted all three photos vertically on white cardstock before placing them on the page.  I used the floral border sticker from the 12x12 sticker sheet to go along the left side edge of the photos.    Due to the background paper having a busy pattern, I wanted to keep the embellishments simple.

An element I haven't used a lot of in the past is photo overlays.  Typically because they usually aren't the right size for the photos I'm using.  The "Dream Come True" overlay fit over the photo at the bottom without covering up too much of anything captured in the photo.  I added the "love this" phrase sticker for an added touch.

I like to get creative with my journaling, and in this layout.  I wrote along the left hand side edge of the cardstock matte of the photos.  I think it turned out really nice.

If you haven't seen the Simple Stories Enchanted Collection in it's entirety, visit FotoBella.com.  You'll love everything about this collection!  I know I do!

Have a fabulous day!

Stars of the Show Bo Bunny Carnival Layout

Welcome to the blog today!  I've got my last circus layout on here today designed with Bo Bunny's Carnival I Want It All Bundle from Fotobella.com.

At the end of the circus my kids were dying to meet the Stars of the Show and didn't mind waiting in line at all to get their autographs.  My son definitely wanted to meet the clown and my daughter was all about the Trapeze artists (my favorite also!).

I matted the two photos side by side, first on white yardstick and then on the red curtain patterned paper.  The background paper is amazing.  The paper with the giraffe is the backside of the "Big Top" paper, and I added and  piece of the "Levitation" paper on the right side of the page.  The "Levitation" paper was perfect for this layout, featuring all types of circus stars and acts.

Some of the embellishments on this page include the pennant flag banner which I fussy cut out, chipboard star stickers, top hat, shooting stars and Sideshow tab.  I added some Diamond Stickles to make the stars shine.

Thanks for visiting today and hope you enjoy paper crafting with Bo Bunny's Carnival Collection as much as I did.

Have a fabulous day!

Do you love seeing a lot fun layers in a layout?  If so, this is the layout for you!  Get the Bo Bunny Carnival I Want It All Bundle and head over to Fotobella's blog to see the full tutorial on how to make this layout.

I didn't hold back when it came to using a lot of patterns and layers.

**This has a lot pieces to layer, but I promise you this layering is worth it!

I journaled around the circles and traced the blue lines with Stickles.

Poolside foam thickers were used for my daughter's nickname "Kiki".

And here is the final result of all of that hard work of layering and stickling away.

Supplies Needed:  "Calliope" paper, Ephemera pack, Chipboard Stickers, "Funhouse" paper, yellow polka dot ribbon, Red & Blue Stickles, Cardboard, White card stock, 4x6 photo, Big Bite, Paper Trimmer, Scissors, Adhesive, Blue Pen for journaling, Poolside foam Thickers for Title.

Don't be afraid to use a lot of pattern paper and layers, it really does result in a great look.  Love this layout?  Love this collection?  Bo Bunny Carnival is at FotoBella.com and treat yourself to the "I Want It All" bundle.  Because we all deserve to have it all sometimes :)
