Bo Bunny Pincushion Double Layout

Hello, it's Apryl with a project made with Bo Bunny's Pincushion Collection for Fotobella's Design Team.

Are you looking for a layout design that incorporates a lot of pictures and journaling while using the traditional style of scrapbooking.  If so, I've got a double layout for you today that fits the bill.

As you can see I used nine photos.  Wow! Nine!  and there's journaling and super cute embellishments!  Here's how to do the same thing with your photos:

1. Select a neutral background paper.  (Handmade back paper shown)

2.  Crop photos as needed and place on the background paper to get a feel for the layout.

3.  Matte the photos in white and begin filling in the blank spaces with various patterned papers. (Pincushion front, Backstitch back, Thread count front,Toile back)

4.  Decide what section will be for the title and for the journaling.

5. Then begin adding embellishments. (Noteworthy, Chipboard stickers, buttons, twine, Sew fun paper, Backstitch paper.)

Here is what your layout should look like:  Nice clean lines, lots of photos, lots of cute embellishments.

Thanksgiving Wreath Centerpiece

Happy Holidays!  Yes people the holidays are here....wow!  That means that holiday decorating is in full force.  For the Imaginisce Design Team I have made a fall wreath that I used for my table centerpiece.  Bushel of Fall Collection is what I used.  It's full of beautiful fall colors and patterns.

I wanted to keep the design of my wreath clean and simple.  I hand drew a simple leaf pattern & chose several patterns of paper to make the leaves out of.

The base of the wreath is a styrofoam wreath form from Hobby Lobby.

Surrounded by pumpkins and pinecones it makes for a beautiful table scape.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!  I don't know about you but I've got to get busy cookin'!

Saturday Share & Project Life

Happy Saturday!  Every Saturday Imaginisce Design Team members are sharing a project life layout.  One of my favorite collections from Imaginisce is Bushel of Fall.  Here is a project life spread I did using that collection in combination with Thanksgiving photos.

The pocket pages make for a quick layout design.  They also allow you to use a lot of photos and a great chance to incorporate a lot of journaling.

The Bushel of Fall Collection has some great embellishment pieces that are perfect for the Project Life design.

For more inspiration, visit Imaginisce's partner companies that are also hosting Saturday Share to see how other designers are using Project Life.

If you have a PL layout you'd like to share, you can do so at Imaginisceblog.com

Have a fabulous Saturday!

Bo Bunny Christmas Card

Hello there, Apryl here with Fotobella's Design Team sharing a Christmas card made with Bo Bunny's Elf Magic Collection.  You can find this great collection as an "I Want It All" Bundle at Fotobella.com.

I began this card by creating the base with the red and white polka dot paper.  I then cut the navy and matted it with white cardstock.  I centered the large snowflake sticker on the card and embellished it with a button and rhinestones.  Quick, simple and beautiful card.

There are lots of great options in the Elf Magic Bundle for making hand made Christmas cards.  Check it out for yourself....you won't be able to resist...

Have a fabulous day!

Christmas tags

Today I'm here to share and inspire you to make handmade tags for your Christmas gifts this year.  I'm working with Bo Bunny's Elf Magic Collection and there are a lot of goodies in Fotobella's bundle for you to have fun with!

This tag is made using the large Christmas tree and layering it with another element from the Noteworthy packet.

I decorated the Christmas tree with buttons and chipboard stickers.  I added some twine, button and chipboard elements as well.    This is really a quick and simple way to step up your game when it comes to gift wrapping this year.  So grab a bundle of Elf Magic and create some fabulous tags!
