Bo Bunny Dear Santa Christmas Card Layout

What will you be busy doing once you finish carving up that Thanksgiving turkey?   Christmas shopping? Holiday cards? Spending time with friends and family and holiday paper crafting!?!  I know I'll be doing all of the above!

Bo Bunny's Dear Santa Collection from FotoBella is a great way to persevere those memories you create during the holidays and make some fabulous Christmas projects.    Every year I send out Christmas cards with family photos and I keep one from each year so that I can scrapbook them.  I'm sharing this layout today with our family Christmas card from 2010.

I wanted the card to be the focal point of the page, and used a variety of papers to layer behind it to pick up the colors from the card.

I chose the dear, arrow and holly berries from the Bo Bunny Dear Santa ephemera pack for embellishing.

I added a cute border along the bottom of the card that comes in the I Want It All bundle.  This layout is really very simple in design and only takes a short time to make.

Visit FotoBella.com and get your Dear Santa I Want It All bundle right away!  You need it to get your Christmas craft on!  Hurry, these bundles sell out quick!  I've missed out on a few myself, so go, go go!

Have a fabulous day!

Bo Bunny Christmas Card

Hello there, Apryl here with Fotobella's Design Team sharing a Christmas card made with Bo Bunny's Elf Magic Collection.  You can find this great collection as an "I Want It All" Bundle at Fotobella.com.

I began this card by creating the base with the red and white polka dot paper.  I then cut the navy and matted it with white cardstock.  I centered the large snowflake sticker on the card and embellished it with a button and rhinestones.  Quick, simple and beautiful card.

There are lots of great options in the Elf Magic Bundle for making hand made Christmas cards.  Check it out for yourself....you won't be able to resist...

Have a fabulous day!

I had a great time layering the papers and fun embellishments such as the chipboard and layered stickers for a fun and festive feel.

Lots of fun details in this layout including doodling on the letters and little rhinestones throughout.

This collection is really adorable!  You've got to check it out for yourself!  Visit Fotobella.com and snag yourself one of these bundles and get to scrappin' those holiday photos!

I Caught A Fish!

Working with the Bo Bunny Trail Mix Collection for Fotobella has been really fun for me.  The I Want It All Bundle is packed with Trail Mix goodies and plenty of fun choices for those outdoorsy photos!  The collection reminded me of the photo I had stashed somewhere of my nephew when he’d caught his first fish.  It such a cute photo of when he was little and he was SO proud!

The fish patterned paper was perfect for creating a fun layered matte for the photo.  I then layered the embellishments on the page to resemble a mounted fish trophy.  I also found a fun die cut on one of my Cricut cartridges of the fish and a fishing rod, and I added that to the background of the layout.  I love how the layout came out.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a fabulous day!

Another Fabulous Bobunny Collection!

Hello Everyone!  Today I am sharing two of my latest projects for Fotobella, using Bo Bunny's Isabella Collection.  This is such a beautiful collection, I just LOVE it.

There are several theme's to choose from but I went with the Sister's theme for this card.  What I love is the sentiment, which can really be used for any occasion.

I dressed up the card with the Chipboard scroll sticker, cut out butterflies and added some bling!  All found in the Bo Bunny Isabella I Want It All Bundle.

I also put together a quick n' easy tag album.  I used wallet sized photos and the Bo Bunny Isabella Style Sheet.  The beauty of this project is all the cutouts used form the Style sheet are the same size and the wallet size photos fit perfectly.

For the cover, I layered several flowers from the collection and fastened them with a brad.

Using an Xacto, I trimmed around the butterfly design and tucked the photo behind it.

This page is for journaling, I'm going to let my daughter do that since this about her and her best friend!

I tied the pages together with a sheer ribbon and viola!  A cute little tag album in no time at all!

Thanks for stopping by today and have a fabulous day!

2. Choose the following paper: Cutouts (Side B), Dragonfly (Side B), Stripe (Side B), Garden (Side B), Poppies.
3. Select the Dragonfly Paper and measure and mark it at 9”x9”.

4. Trim the paper down to 9”x9”.

5. Using the Lucky 8 punch Classic Wreath. Set the cut settings to “on” for the Outer Cut and the Inner Cut.
6. With the red side of the paper facing up, begin punching all four corners.

9. Ink the edges of the shape with black ink.

10. Select the Cutouts Paper Side B and your circle cutter tool.

11. Cut out a circle that is 6” in diameter.

12. Matte your photo in white cardstock, matte with Poppies paper and then matte a third time with Garden Paper Side B. Place the photo on top of the Circle as shown.

13. Select a dark red ribbon and gather three loops together. Use a staple to secure the loops at the base (where my thumb is holding the ribbon). Do not cut the ribbon tails.

15. Using pop dots, adhere the Simply Beautiful Sticker to the bottom left hand corner of your matted photo.
16. Select a small red and yellow flower, layer and attach with a brad. Using a glue dot, adhere the flower embellishment so that it covers the small red flower to the left of the word “simply” on the sticker.

Handmade Gifts with Bo Bunny Serenade Collection

What's the big question that you get asked everywhere you go this time of year?  "Are you ready for Christmas?"  Well....are you?!?  Yikes it's only a few days away....

If you are looking for some last minute ideas for that perfect gift, something homeade and from the heart, well then you have come to the right blog!  I am featuring two projects for the Fotobella Design Team made with Bo Bunny's Serenade Collection that would make great gifts.  This collection can be found at Fotobella.com and you can get the complete collection by selecting the "I Want It All" Bundle.

My first project is a beautiful bookmark, perfect for those avid readers I know!

I really loved this quote so I chose to place it at the top of the bookmark.I   wanted to place the quote sticker without interfering with the beautiful dragonfly.  I did that by cutting along the body of the dragon fly and the top edge of the wing on the right side with anXacto knife.  Then I slipped the 2 bottom corners of the sticker behind the slits.  I embellished it with gold stickles along the edge and a chipboard flower sticker.  I added a yellow rhinestone to the center of the flower.

I love the earthy colors of this paper but I did want to add a little bling to it…I couldn’t help it!  So I used green stickles along the edges of the winds and embellished the body of the dragonfly with Icicles Stickles to give it some shine.  It worked perfectly.Just enough sparkle.

My second project is a Recipe Mini Album. Besides scrapbooking all the time, I also enjoy cooking and baking. I often receive requests for my recipes…and to be honest, I’m terrible at sharing them! I thought I could create this mini album and tuck a few of my most requested recipes and gift it to those who are always asking for them J

One of the sticker sheets in this bundle is all a cooking theme, which was perfect for this recipe book. For the cover I combined stickers, flowers, brads, chipboard sitkcers, rhinestones, trinkets and ribbon.

I made every page a different shape by experimenting with my Lucky 8 punches (also found at Fotobella.com)

Hope this inspires you to make some creative handmade and heartfelt gifts of your own this holiday season!

Happy Holidays!
